Arts Engagement.

Associate Artistic Director & Director of Arts Engagement from 2015 to 2022. Founded and led the Arts Engagement Department, serving over 50,000 people annually.

02 · The Public Theater · New York

Artistic programs.

Director of Artistic Programs & Associate Artistic Director from 2022 to 2024, overseeing Joe’s Pub, Under the Radar, Public Works, and Mobile Unit.

03 · CityParks Foundation · SummerStage · New York

Theatrical programs.

Director, Theatrical Programs from 2006 to 2014. Created and launched CityParks Theater, the first citywide free theater festival since Joe Papp, and helped expand SummerStage to 17 sites across all five boroughs.

Communal Joy

Joy has to be shared to last.

The work gets stronger when people can name what matters, help shape the story, and see their knowledge change the room. I call that shared authorship — participation as engagement, and access as integral to belonging.
